Terms of Service
The rules for installing, using and subscribing to ForgeBot.
1. About these Terms
These Terms apply to the ForgeBot website, Discord bot and related services. By installing, activating or purchasing ForgeBot, you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
ForgeBot is an independent Discord-based clan management service. It provides tools for managing and analysing clan-related information, including features such as war management, resources, player information, warnings, absences and other available modules. Available features depend on the selected plan.
3. Plans and pricing
ForgeBot may offer Basic, Elite and Pro plans. Current features and prices are shown on the ForgeBot website or during the subscription process. Future pricing or plan features may change. Where required, material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated before they take effect.
4. 21-day Pro Trial
Eligible new servers may receive a 21-day Pro Trial. The trial provides temporary access to Pro features and does not automatically create a paid subscription. A user must actively complete the subscription process before a recurring PayPal subscription is created.
5. Subscriptions
Paid ForgeBot subscriptions are billed monthly through PayPal unless stated otherwise during checkout. Subscriptions renew according to the PayPal subscription agreement until cancelled. Only one current ForgeBot subscription should apply to a Discord server.
6. Payment problems
If a payment temporarily fails, ForgeBot may continue providing access while PayPal attempts to resolve or retry the payment. If PayPal suspends, expires or cancels the subscription, ForgeBot may automatically restrict paid access. Access can be restored when a valid subscription becomes active again.
7. Cancellation and withdrawal
You may cancel a ForgeBot subscription at any time to stop future recurring charges. Mandatory statutory consumer cancellation or withdrawal rights remain unaffected. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy and Withdraw from Contract pages.
8. Discord permissions and authority
You must have sufficient authority to install or configure ForgeBot in the Discord server where it is used. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate Discord permissions, protecting your Discord account and ensuring that only authorised people can access management functions.
9. Acceptable use
ForgeBot may not be used to violate applicable law, abuse or disrupt ForgeBot systems, obtain unauthorised access, circumvent subscription restrictions, intentionally interfere with other customers, or facilitate fraud or malicious activity. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect ForgeBot or other users.
10. Availability
ForgeBot is maintained with the aim of providing a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, Discord outages, PayPal outages, hosting problems, updates or circumstances outside ForgeBot's reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
11. Data
Users remain responsible for information they submit to ForgeBot. ForgeBot may store information needed to operate the service, preserve history, provide analytics and protect service integrity. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
12. Changes to ForgeBot
ForgeBot may receive updates, fixes, improvements and feature changes over time. Features may be changed or replaced where reasonably necessary for development, security, compatibility or reliability.
13. Liability
ForgeBot provides decision-support and clan-management tools, not guarantees of clan performance or game outcomes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ForgeBot is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from service interruption, Discord changes, incorrect user-provided information or circumstances outside ForgeBot's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Termination
ForgeBot may restrict or terminate access where a subscription has ended, payments remain unresolved, the service is abused, these Terms are seriously violated, or continued access would create a security or legal risk.
15. Intellectual property
ForgeBot software, branding, design and original content remain the property of their respective owner. Using ForgeBot does not transfer ownership of ForgeBot software or branding.
16. Third-party services
ForgeBot depends on third-party platforms including Discord and PayPal. Their own terms and policies also apply when you use their services.
17. Independence
ForgeBot is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Discord Inc. or Forge Masters.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply under applicable law.
